OUR PROCESS


Our professionalism and customer service record is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore, we want to make sure that we work together on every part of your journey, from product choice through to installation and beyond. This page demonstrates what this process entails, and what you can expect from us on every step of the way.

Consultation

Decisions about purchases of these types of fundamental items can be confusing, and you need to know exactly what you are getting before investing your hard-earned cash. We would be happy to talk you through the pros and cons of all our items in respect to your concept, and discuss long-term implications in your decisions such as thermal efficency.


We have manufcaturer literature available to send you should you want to read up on certain items at home, browse colour ranges, or think about glass options. Our showroom displays an ever-growing number of our products which we would encourage you take advantage of whilst decision-making. 


All the information you want, we will endeavour to make sure you get!

Get a Quote

Once you have decided what product(s) you like, we will send you a quote. We will need sizes as precise as possible to make sure we can provide you with an accurate price. If you do not know the exact sizes, we can provide you with an estimate cost or a price comparison between two different products if you are at an early stage in the building process. We cannot honour estimation quote prices, as they are not exact measurements. 


All quotes will be valid for 30 days for you to have time to make your decision. We try to get your quote to you as soon as possible, but for some suppliers we do have to wait on longer than others, so we ask for a little patience. 

Place an Order

Once you've received your quote, had some time to mull things over and have decided on your final products, we then move your quote into an order.


We will draw up the necessary paperwork and send it to you via your preferred communication method. At this point, a 40% deposit payment is due of the total amount. Should your require any changes in sizes or colours from the original quote, now would be the time to let us know. There is still a little bit of time to change details, but these may affect the price.

Survey

Once the 40% deposit has been recevied, we will then contact you to arrange a survey at the site. This is for us to check all measurements, ensure that we are happy with the products you've chosen  in the environment they will be placed. 


This is unlikely, but the last thing we want is to order you a product that we do not think you will be happy with! For example, properties that are exposed to the ocean may have higher rates of erosion, for which we would recommend specific products with particular finishes to elongate your product's lifespan.


Once we have completed our survey and we are all happy with the products you would like and their environment, we can progress the order. Should we have any concerns from the survey, we will contact you immediately in order to resolve them as soon as possible. 

Approval

Once our experts are happy with the product selection, we will draw up approval paperwork detailing everything we found during our survey, if anything at all. 


This paperwork will then need to be signed by yourself, or a project manager to make sure that the sizes we have taken are aligned with sizes of the architects and/or builders working on the site, and to make sure we order the correct sizes. Once consent from the relevant parties has been given, we will order your items to be delievered as soon as possible. 

Manufacturing

We work with many different suppliers of varying size, which means manufacturing lead-times vary depending on the product type. During the quotation process, we can give you an estimated lead time for the supplier of the products you are most interested in. However, these can fluctuate depending on a variety of factors so unfortunately it is unlikely we can give you an exact date. Most suppliers can initally give us a week for delivery, and closer to the time give us a definite date. 


Our priority is that the manufacturing process is completed to a high standard as opposed to have a swift output. We do not like to put pressure on our suppliers for fear of the possiblity of getting a sub-standard product, so we do ask for patience in regards to lead-times. We will do our best to negotiate with suppliers on your behalf to fit in with pre-arranged schedules. 

Delivery

Depending on the individual projects, we will either arrange for the delivery to be straight to site, or we will take delivery at our warehouse and store your items until installation. 


If the delivery is straight to site, it is likely we will have pre-arranged to start the installation on that same day, and so our expert installers will oversee the delivery and check all products on arrival. Should this not be the case, we ask for delivery to be taken be able-bodied workers who can assist with the heavier items. We also ask that all items remain in the packaging they were delivered in until an installer can inspect the items. This is to ensure the quality of the items until installation. 


Should we take delivery of your items at our warehouse, we will endeavour to contact you to inform you of a successful delivery. A further 40% payment installment will be  due at this point, prior to the installation date. 

Installation

During the manufacturing stage, we will be in contact to arrange an installation date. We understand that this needs to be fitted in between other trades and activities on site, and so we will be as flexible as possible around your schedule! 


Once a provisional date is arranged, we will be in contact approximately a week prior to finalise these dates. We want to make sure that everything is on track on site, and the openings will be ready for the product delivery. Our installations can be booked months in advance for larger projects, and our installers are very busy. Should our installers turn up on site for an installation to find the site not ready, there may be a cost to cover our expenses and the delay.


We will be able to provide you with an estimated installation time-scale. We can only provide an estimation as we cannot account for issues arising during the installation. Our priority is providing you with a quality finish, and we would appreciate patience should our work overruns our initial estimate. We would advise that you do not schedule in the next trade based on our time-scale estimation, and speak to our installers during the work to keep updated. 


Aftercare

Once our installation has been completed, we will ask you or your site manager to inspect the work and sign off that the work is complete and you are happy with the final product. Should there be any issues on inspection, we will endeavour to correct them immediately - your satisfaction is our priority.


If an inspection is not completed on the day of installation, we will automatically sign off the job as complete as we cannot accept liability for damage caused by other trades working on the site.  


Once your installation is completed and signed off, the completion 20% payment will then be due. Once received, we will then send you details of your aftercare plan dependant on the products you have purchased.
